Cultivating Ancestral Legacy into Living Community

Pan‑African Village & Moree Heritage

In collaboration with the Obokese Foundation, this initiative weaves together historic cultural preservation and community-driven development in Ghana’s Asebu Traditional Area, under the spiritual and ancestral guidance of Nana Obokese Ampah.

Across two catalytic programs—Pan‑African Village and Moree Heritage Statue—this project isn't just infrastructure. It’s interwoven identity, empowerment, and Pan‑African revitalization.

What It Involves:

  • Pan‑African Village: Offering free land to descendants of the Trans-Atlantic diaspora, activating ancestral rebirth through sustainable housing and co-created community infrastructure Obokese Foundation.

  • Moree Heritage Statue: A ten-foot tribute to fisherman Ofarnyi Kweigya—strategically added near Cape Coast tourist pathways to elevate local pride and economic opportunity Obokese Foundation.

  • Collaborative Leadership: Engaging traditional authorities, youth groups, and diaspora stakeholders in inclusive design, governance, and storytelling.

  • Cultural-Economic Integration: Heritage tourism, agritech experimentation, and education ties with universities and heritage councils.

This work is radical legacy in motion. It re-centers African identity, restores ancestral ties, and creates tangible opportunities. Whether through land stewardship or monuments of celebration, it’s deepening narrative ownership and equitable prosperity.
